About Us
History
Our story starts way back in 2001, when a group of parents realized they need to know more about raising their children right
Parenting is not something they teach at school. A group of concerned parents realized that they needed to do something to be better equipped in this task of raising their children right.
It was not enough to just read books or go online to learn. What was needed was some practical cases to guide them in navigating the development of their children.
As each family has its own unique characteristics, it was important that they hear from other parents what their experiences were.
They realized that aside from academic training, what their children needed was growth in virtues to form their character.
The Family Enrichment courses offered by the IFFD (International Federation for Family Development) was what was needed. IFFD is the largest international civil society organization devoted to family development. They have had more than 30 years’ experience of carrying out these courses.
IFFD has General Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and regularly organizes international congresses on the family.
The IFFD Family Enrichment courses are adapted to the Hong Kong context and are age-specific as the needs of each child varies with each stage of their development.
